CMS is committed to providing ongoing support to its network of radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging centers and ensuring quality services to cancer patients.
It is dedicated to providing the following support:
Training for doctors and staff in treatment centers
- Arrange training for medical professionals, prior to setting up new centers, at designated training centers within the established centers in its network to provide the medical professionals at new centers with the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in advanced radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging technology
- Arrange training for the medical staff with equipment manufacturers
- Invite experts from academic or professional institutions to give lectures and provide guidance as to the latest developments and trends in radiotherapy treatments
Clinical research
- Organize and sponsor clinical research studies that are published and routinely presented at industry conferences
- Organize, encourage and assist doctors in our network to engage in clinical research and to publish their results in our internal quarterly periodicals.
- Maintain a database of radiotherapy treatments accessible for reseach purposes; Doctors in CMS network have performed over 48,000 radiotherapy treatments and over 100,000 diagonistic imaging scans since the beginning of 2007.
